Fitting a new toilet onto this old cast soil pipe that only fits in about 2inches. It's coming through the wall at an angle and can't be changed because of an extension below. The new pan connector keeps dripping on a full flush any ideas on a solution other than silocone which the old one had lots of round.

Cut the collar off and install it into the tube might need a new flexi eg mcalpine WC-F18S note they do different lengths eg so pick the correct length

2 potential problems,

Is the cast iron collar where the flexi fits in clean or is it rusty or does it have a plastic or other sleeve in it?
How tight a fit was the flexi into the

Pan connectors are normally sized to fit inside a pipe, not into a collar or socket.

The soil pipe reduces to approximately 70/80mm after the collar so stuck with the collar. Its manky and cruddy scraped off as much as I can but don't want to make the pan connector loose as it feels quite snug. Its like the water is building up on the collar and forcing its way out. Thanks for the help

it looks like the flexi is going up hill thats wrong from the start.
you should be able to push the fitting further into the pipe with a little more force

Turn your phone 45 degrees!!!
The picture is taken on the wonk, look how low the cast collar is - only just fit the tub under.
