Hi everyone
Going be moving into a house soon. One of the problems I noticed is the toilet soil pipe. It comes through the floor vertically at 260 mm from back wall. The close coupled toilet I want has 300mm from back to start of spigot . Is there any way this will work ?. Toilet is small and at a very quick first glance there looks to be no room to adjust centre of soil pipe.

Thanks in Advance for any suggestions.

One of these should do the job
Toolstation: Swan Neck Pan Connector image.jpg

Is the 260 from the wall to the front or rear of the soilpipe connection?

There are swan neck and flexible pan connectors which may help. Or position the toilet you want and build some boxing in if the cistern doesnt reach the wall.

Sorry should have made it clearer its 260 mm to centre

ok. try the swan neck connector or build boxing in. its either that or you rethink your choice of toilet.
the problem is that the drains that go through the floor and positioned away from the wall were designed for low-level toilets and not close coupled.

have a google of low/high level toilets and see if there is any you like. some are quite stylish albeit old fashioned.

Thank you both for replies. Swan neck at a glance should do the job I think, don't get the keys until the 17th nov. So its anxious wait until I can try. Worse case scenario I will be doing some boxing in
