Evening chaps,
Just started pricing up a new build, its a 4 bed house. It has upstairs 2 x en suites and a master bathroom (one bed is deprived) I've just noticed on the plans, that all of the appliances: 3x w.c's, 3x showers( one a wet room), 3x basins and a huge bath are all emptying into one stack. I rang the customer, who says yes this is correct.....as the architect has drawn them!!!! Now beg my pardon, chaps! but if i had a quid for everytime an archi has dropped a boo boo??
I'm not really up to speeds on standards regarding stacks etc, but come on 10 x appliances into one stack in a family house!!
I explained that every washing facility would be wiped out in the event of a blockage, the effects of a water backing up the wet room floor if bath, w.c's flushing at same time etc.
So, is this correct. Or have i just got to keep my opinions to me self.
