Do you mean a direct solar cylinder is has no flow and return for heating coil? If so just get a new twin coil cylinder and electric boiler, not cheap to run though, would be looking at air source myself

Have look at this its a cylinder vented or unvented with a air source heat pump on top and only draws .8kw but heats at the same speed as a 3kw immersion heater, takes the heat from a bathroom or kitchen extractor and then you can duct cool dry air to an other location like a conservatory
