does anyone know if soldering flux can go off, or not usable if it is a few years old ? many thanks

laco , goes green when it oxidises.
i know gas fitters that demand re-make of the joint if this happens prior to sweating the joint.

never had a problem with it going of ive uused it after being in the garage for years

I have an ancient 5lb tub of Fluxite which used to belong to my grandad. I just scoop a bit into a smaller tin in my toolbox as and when I need it.
