Hi
I am about to replace a leaking solvent weld fitting and after cutting the old fitting off I noticed the some damage on the pipe ( happened when I cut the fitting off). I can't
shorten
the pipe any more and I would like to know, if I put plenty of solvent (glue) on the pipe and on the new fitting will that make it a water tight
joint
?

Thanks sasi

yer normally if the pipe is clean you will get away with it , well what have u got to loose?!
