We recently extended our house. As a result of this 6 new boilers(upstairs and downstairs)) were installed by a plumber in the extended area of the house.. We have a regular boiler i.e. tanks in the loft and a hot water tank in the air cupboard. The make of three port valve is honey well.
On switching on the heating, the old boilers work fine but boilers in the new extension don't heat up. However when hot water comes on (we have a timer, hot water comes on in the morning and in the evening), the new radiators warm up but not as warm.
Is it due to wrong piping or an issue with the valve? I must admit the plumber didn't look expert in the central heating systems, however the builder who built the extension uses him. Any advice will be welcome so that I pass it on to my builder.
