As above I've finally bitten the bullet and going to do the gas side of the job. Of course I've done gas works previously "supervised" and as apprentice my old boss had me fitting boilers and cookers all the time. I'm pretty up to date with the gas stuff as I'm frequently working alongside gas safe blokes. I've just been too tight to fork out and do it. I'm doing the gas training with able skills in Kent then I'll complete the portfolio with a mate of mine who I work alongside often in exchange for beer I would of thought, knowing him. Also as I have NVQ level 2 and supervised gas work signed off my portfolio is quite a bit shorter. Anyone in the same boat?
