33ching

Hi there,
Just wanted to know if any of you guys use spanners or do you all use adjustable ones. If any of you do then what sizes do you use and what are the most come sizes. The reason I am asking is that I have bag full of spanners of various sizes that I have collected over the years and was going to throw them out but I thought I would check first as some are brand new and it seams a waste of money especially if I can use them.

Rule number 1! NEVER throw any tools away!

You will be surprised how often you will use spanners!
I have a full set of spanners,

You will always need them!

Put them in a bag and slip them in the van! Trust me, you will use them and say ' thank god i never threw them away'

33ching, if you decide to throw them, then throw them in a packet with my name and address on.

I agree dont throw them away look after them, if you dont use them give them a bit of oil wrap in a cloth and put in your shed. Respect your tools and they one day may save you from that nightmare.

keep the spanners in your van if u want to buy adjustables look at the bahco gear !! (top quality)

Look at Rothenberger as well they have recently stepped up a gear in getting adjustables and alot cheaper than Bacho.

yeah but dont keep em in the van overnight or they will run away :p

footprints 7 and nine inch for general work pair of 12s for pumps etc three shifters and a meium sized pair of pump pliers
the above gets me thru most situations
