Stat for large room

Have a job in a workmans type hall, rip out old and fit complete new heating system (15/16 rads)
Don't really like the idea of a room stat behind the bar, or out in the open (I know they can be tamper proof)
Is there a remote sensor type which is adjustable remotely?

The thing with that is I'll be the one back and forth changing temp until a happy medium is reached

tbh these places never normally have room stats in good places tbh most dont even have them as for the reasons you said above
