Hi all,
is it a requirement to have ptfe tape on the points of steel pipes?

i'm asking as i was called to a gas leak where there was no ptfe tape but just paste on all the joints. the joint that was leaking had hardly any paste on it.

not specifically no,just jointing compound approved for use with gas such as rocal gas grease or jetblue

is the laco stuff uk/ bs approved? i know they are approved for usa regs.

I bought from corgi direct.... I it's hope approved... Is there any way to check?

whats it say on the tub? i was think of buying some hence the question.

is it good stuff?

could use gas ptfe tape one on the yellow spool.....regards Turnpin
