Now I know a combi isnt the best option here but this is what the cust wants due to lack of space and flow. They only have 1 bath and 1 shower at the moment and want to put in another shower room (they don't want an electric shower either). They only have 15 litres a minute which goes down to 8 when 2 taps are open so not the greatest. I have never fitted a storage combi before but have one of you guys and would you recommend. Cheers

The 28 I rsf that is there now is pretty big. Plenty of space as it is in a utility room

Well better hope they don't mind a small tank on the wall. It sits off the wall about 2 foot......

And if you get a F81 code on it, pass it to Vaillant, pig of a job to change store pump

Are they planning on trying something to increase the flow rate? Otherwise there is no point in fitting such a big boiler.

still only going to get a crap flow rate whether its storage or not at least an electric shower will give back up when combi gives up

If they insist, just make it clear and write the spec down on the quote with max flow rates - get it signed and take the money, they were informed and given the info....

If they have no plan to do something then just for a normal combi. If they really do insist then do as Phil says.

Glowworm 35 store better than the 938 IMHO, but need g3 to fit it

dont make them anymore but great boiler, dont think you need a g3 as its all built in,

Have to agree to disagree.
Im referring to integral storage types

Have just checked doc G. Its as i stated...

I only ask as I just sat my 5 year unvented re sit and he said about that and he said doesn't matter about size if unvented needs G3 so don't know

pop that link up for all to see as the ruling i got shown was different,

Its part of doc G cant pop a link guys.
But this has been raised before on here. Its near exemptions in the Doc - a right rivetting read !

To be frank (and take this in a nice way) - yous should all have a copy - so why not have a read ?
If you have an electronic copy then its a doddle to find using the >>search << function.
Appologies but sort of get a little fed up of the whole "not true" snipes when its there in black and white - so if you cant be harrised to find it yerself - im not bothering to do the homework for you !

Original post was storage combis

And Yes ive now had more than a reasonable amount of gins and finished peaky blinders series 2 in one evening !!!
