Installed a new boiler, got working pressure, perfect. FGA readings. Fine.

Did gas rate and it was saying its working way out of its capacity!
Meter was electronic card reading type and all taps were fancy with flow resistors which im presuming was making my gas rate out.

Any1 had anything like this?

Was the gas rate low or high? What boiler was it?

Was baxi duo tec. Ive installed hundreds and never put them in service mode.

Gas rate was alot lower than it should be

If you are getting poor flow rate at the taps then it wont be on max rate. Put it in service mode and gas rate it, you should be testing it in service mode anyway.

Had a go on four of these today. service mode with ig? And plus button. Minus twice to go onto full rate i think.

will be in the book

I/p and rad plus for 6 seconds . Run hot tap as keeps temp down if system already hot .

If duo 1

Nobs to low then thrash rhs nob to. 1/4 and off 3 times and she's away... Again with hot tap .

If ga range and it's miles off ar and just call Baxi. They will probs pay you to swap it out for a he.

Will be fine kougs just modulating down, with silly taps etc, as said always use service mode

Ill give that try next time i fit another, think ive got 1 on this week

Even with Working pressures and flue gas analyser readings fine im not too worried with the gas ratings. Just hope they havnt swapped the serial numbers for a less kw boiler haha! O well its in now and the customer is loving it :) cheers guys. Just wanted few opinions :)
