Can i fit a stub stack the upstairs bathroom of a 2 story house if an air admitance valve is used?

Yes :) As long as the air admittance valve (Durgo) is above the spill level.

As a rule of thumb, I put them 1200mm from bathroom floor level.

Thats good, gunna save me a hell of a lot of work. I was told i could only use one if the highest waste connection to the stack was under 2 meters from the bend at the bottom, they wasnt 100% sure though.
