Tried posting this in a different part of the forum with no response, so hoping to get some good recomendations here please......

Any good recomendations for a thermostatic type shower inthis situation in an en-suite? Bathroom already has an electric shower so no spare amps on CCU for another electric shower!

Thanks in advance

Mark

new CCU then?

If not then most showers will be fine on this, a lot now come with flow limiters on it as the hot flow is slowed down by the combi to heat it up you need to slow the flow down on the cold

I have had to fit the odd PRV though when mains pressures have been too high

Cheers Tom - I was obviously a bit out of date thinking thermostatics were no good with combis.

Actually this has become a bit of a Saga....did put a new CCU partly for the additional shower as cold mains pressure is so good, but since worked out that 2 X 9.5kw showers = around 80amps just by themselves, most main fuses are only 60amps on older properties(ie this), so the showers alone would exceed that. I've put in a request to get the main fuse to be increased, but it will still be touch and go even then. so looking for alternatives.
