Hi everyone
Got the above boiler heating HW on timer & CH continuous. From time to time the heating switches off & the red light on the boiler panel flashes. Once restart is pressed the boiler fires and heats up again
Any ideas as to what is causing the problem ???

possible pcb problem,how old is the boiler

Dont know how old it is as the boiler was here when we moved in. How easy is it to renew the pcb ??

easy as any pcb unplug unscrew and swop

You are right werewolf wiring loom does need replacing also when replacing contol board on older models and are expensive,have seen alot of people jump in replace board then still going to lock out
Thats why I asked how old it is,it may be the newer model with amended pcb
I know the boards go on the old models,most would now have been replaced/repaired,however believe it of not there are other faults with this boiler,sticking gas valve/solinoid,air pressure switch.
Another point is everyone just replaces pcb boards,often problem just dry joints,if you go to a boiler around 5/6 years often that is the case
