I know that combis have a divertor valve for diverting water to either the central heating or the hotwater but what other components are there for doing the same job.
 
On combis u pretty much get 2 main setup's.

1. U get boilers with diverter valves/plate heat exchangers

2. U get boilers with a dual pass heat exchanger with a hw flow switch

also as mentioned above u get s&y plan heating for system boilers. There are other variations on all of these but most are uncommon.
 
you also get pumped heating and gravity hot water still quite common but old fashioned
 
I will go for


duel pump system,pump for heating and another for hot water
