can any one give me any tips on how to fill a gravity fed system a bit more quicker than gravity its self 2 hours i was bleeding rads HELP ALL!
 
Fill it slowly bleeding from bottom to upstairs it can take a while . All valves open and no pumps running
 
i know how you feel i had a large 5 bed barn conversion the other week filling up took ages. i always start from the bottom and work up as air rises
 
isnt that a traditional set up ? i though system boilers were pressurised?

not at all system as in pump motorized valves f&e tank you know GLASGA STYLE LOL

heres a thought, what about making up a gadget with PRV setting it to around 0.2-0.5 bar and linking it up with mains and filling it up that way ? capping off the vent obviously.
 
sounds good ya mad man think your set up could go on flow or return on dowstairs rad BOOM BOOM THE AULD MOVE
