the system is part one pipe,part two pipe,microbore,and blocked,i've been there two days now and it's getting worse not better;i have pipes running every were,it's a 12 rad system and the pump was pulling from the boilers return,the one pipe part had a manifold feeding 4 rads ....i know..!,my problem is identifing whats what.?the system is suppose to be open vented double feed indirect fully pumped

why are you there? what are the symptoms? if its one or 2 cold rads with others working ok, locate the manifold as blockage will more likely be on this part of the system. with system running you can identify which pipes are cold, these will run to the cold rads. mark these pipes both f and r, then drain down.disconnect pipes at manifold then at cold rads, try and blow down each one this will identify where the blockage is, if all pipes blow clear then the blockage is obstructing the port on the manifold, use a bit of solder and work it through. if the pipes seem blocked when you blow through cut back about a metre from manifold and blow again as this bit is often what blocks. also if poss do a visual inspection of pipework between rad and manifold any kinks in pipe will highlight another possible blockage location.

when you think you may have cracked it, fill up and add a cleaner, return in 4 weeks flush out the crap.
