Evening all, was changing a 2port valve this evening and noticed the temprature relief valve was dripping on the mega flo it's about 15 years old so it's one of those ring pull types, where could I get a new one ??

Hi Irish - You got your unvented? Was there a pressure gauge on the domestic to let you know what pressure the system was at? These are safety valves and usually "drip" for a reason IMHO :)

Yeah I do, gauge is at 2bar but the guy said that every winter he opens it up to make sure it works but it's been leaking for a while as there's a thick black gunge around the tundish,

If the T & P (95605810) has been leaking for a while it will need changing as the brass seating will be scored just like a conventional tap seating. Most likeky reason is the internal Air Gap needs recharging. I Always drain down from the draincock and empty out about half the water and not from the T & P as instructed on side of unit.

electric water heating co. (google them) are the daddys of unvented spare parts.

I have ordered parts off them for about 10 different unvented cylinders and they always have them in stock and post next day. I even got an expansion relief valve replacement of a very old copper unvented!

Their technical team is great too, they seem to know all there is to know about unvented spares.

They have had parts which advanced water heating co haven't as well.
