What tool do you use to tighten/hold the inside of a tank conector?

Monument do a tank connector holding tool.

grips, or large skrewdriver gets me by most times or block of wood with a slot in it.

if its the type with the lugs sticking out ive often found the slide of the bender sit in well

If you do not have the length of arms of a gorilla then use one of these. It works from outside the tank. They make them for 1/2" BSP (15mm Pipe) and 3/4" BSP (22mm Pipe) connections

The Flange bit has slots in it, this part drives the dogs on the inside of the tank fittings. The tool is passed from inside the tank to the outside (before fitting the pipe) Then loosely fit the nut to the outside (make sure your seals/gaskets are inplace) Fit the tommy bar and use the tommy bar to stop the fitting turning whilst tightening the nut with a wrench. Seems complicated now i've put it into words (you should see a list of things to make a cup of tea) anywaythats how it works and it does help especially on deep tanks.

thank you ;)
you can go on and on buying tools for this and tools for that but generally youll find a way to manage with as little as possible especially when the jobs on the fifth floor no lift and everything has to be carried up
i did my apprentice time walking round the west end doing taps toilets leaks and all manner of small roofing and plumbing work with a very small toolkit

i know what your saying mate

i have used my bending machine slides and left them in a tank lol
