Every time my neighbour uses his pressure washer connected from the bathroom tap, the tank in his loft overflows. It's only ever happened twice, minutes after he starts using the pressure washer. Any idea why this happens?

You sure it's the neighbour ?

So? no none return valve?

Dont be daft reg man, who other than a bona fide plumber bothers to fit a DCV? no one, they go fro the cheapest option and cheapest bodger available, screw the consequences of backflow, eg legionella and all the other nasties that one can infect the whole street with.

People just dont care anymore!
