Hi all - mixer tap with very poor flow on hot side ( cold ok ) - it's a Teka model with a single lever on some sort of ball socket affair. Problem is I cannot seem to find any way of getting inside the tap to find what the problem is...under the lever there is a chrome cap which is loose and under this I can see the threads of the tap body but there is not enough of a gap to get grips in.

if anyone has any ideas I would much appreciate it

cheers

dave

Under the hot and cold tabs, sometimes they come off and there is an allen key bolt under neath

Sometimes its just a pull of the lever.

Failing that just replace the whole unit, I find that If you cant get it off, then there is a chance you might break it, which will then be your fault, customer will then want you to take responsibility.

I always reccomend replacing if I can not take them off with ease.
