How long does it take to learn to be a competent Nuclear Engineer? I've been in plumbing for 13 years now and kind of getting the hang of it. This nuclear stuff has got to be easier and way less dangerous, right? I've seen loads of flooded houses (not ones I did!) but not a single one that went nuclear so based on that I reckon plumbing is harder.

On a more serious note, all the best to you Hammers! Good luck in your new role and fair play to you for doing what you want to do.

Yes i use to take the gamma radiation out of used fuel, im basically going back to an old job i use to do .
Well paid plus plenty holiday , sick,pension , only down the road to work everyday.
Also 35 hours a week and going to a 4 day week soon

Usual got offered a heating pack contract over 5 years was in a team doing 2 packs a day chased the money
