Well, got a call from estate agent at 4.45, "can you back to blah blah blah, where you fixed that gas leak? There's a problem with their boiler, they only moved in yesterday and they've got a baby"

No probs, hop in the van, 15 minute drive to look at a "breakdown" on a logic+. Can anyone guess what happened next?

usually they have run out of credit on their pay card thing CHK do let us all know pls

I'll let it run for a while. I'm expecting someone familiar with logics to get it soon.

"hi, i need you to find a leak, the ballcock in the tank is always running even when the taps are all off"

"no problem it shouldn't take too long"
and with perfect timing the kitchen ceiling dropped

"found it"

I would have gone off at the spur. Had that before. Woman who called me out paid me to change the fuse so that her husband didnt realise what she had done.

I had a customer on the phone panicking once, I'd just fitted a Baxi 105he and he thought the led,s coming on we're a fault.

Had that too a few months back. The pressure was rising and all the lights came on so she turned the boiler off lol.

So landlord has to pay for retarded tenants. Another reason why I would never rent my house out.

In fairness to him, the pressure was down when they moved in, so he topped it up correctly. Then burner went out when room stat was satisfied and he sees pump overrun on front of boiler. Think he was a bit concerned they'd wake up with no heating on and a baby in the house.

What did babies do before we had central heating. Hate that kind of on excuse for priority service

Well, as a guy with a baby I can see his plight. He didn't get priority service, I was just available.

I have a two year old and 4 month old, but i would just feel guilty using that as some sort of leverage
