have a few thermostatic mixer showers and sometimes the hot gets air in it and i have to take the shower head down to the shower tray to get the air out.

i am thinking of installing a whole house pump like a rhp 75 or 100 from salamander. if i installed a pump would i have this problem any more>

advise please

i am a plumber and it will be fitted correctly thought it would work just needed that second opinion.
will ring monsoon 2morrow and see what the craic is.

stuart turner are the dogs' danglers, but you are getting air into the showers because its being drawn down the dhw cylinders vent pipe. a pump will definitely exagerate this problerm!!
you will cure air problem by installing a surrey flange in the cylinder, so your dhw draw is totally indipendent from the vent pipe.

Monsoon don't recommend Surrey flanges
