Just shows that his security clearance wasn’t worth much.
Attempted murder and he gets only 2 years in jail and no doubt he will be out much sooner.

The mind just boggles doesn’t it. I would never ever in my wildest dreams put someone at risk for $$$

Its rather worrying that these people exist , the older I get the more I realise they exist in greater numbers .

I think same. There are a lot of people with some degree of mental problems, or just pure evil.
Might be partly to do with my life experiences that I trust only a few people.

Is that why your avatar is a tank Best ? :D

Just had to check this wasn't in an open forum.

You know for some time it's been worrying me that many of the people who enter a trade do so simply because they are deemed 'unfit' by the establishment for anything else. Unlike the rest of the world, trades in the UK are still treated by many as, well, low life. I cannot tell you how many times I've simply goy back in the car and driven away cos I've been asked to use the back entrance.

Of course it doesn't apply to all, but we all get tarred with teh same brush and it translates to us being referred to as essentialy thick. I feel Best is quite correct in his assertion that many who suffer from or with 'issues' of one description or another will become tradespeople and their actions end up being jumped upon by media as defining us all.

Upon further reflection, this is why forums such as this one are so important in rebuilding the continually eroding reputation of us trades people. Thinking that through a bit more, I now understand why I take so much care and can be so seemingly long winded (Town!!). By demonstrating your thought process hopefully people who come on here will see that between OUR ears lurks a bl00dy sight more than empty space.

You scroaty bunch of reprobates make me feel proud to be in this industry and should be proud of the way you conduct yourselves. Bl00dy punters will never say that :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Your post has reminded me of a story a customer told me a couple days ago.
Some trades guy told her he went to a job and had to use the rear entrance. He later asked to use the toilet, but was refused. Then the customer went to make tea for him and opened the cupboard door below the sink to produce an old mug, to which she said she kept the mug for tradespeople to use.
Apparently he walked.

Good for him , I did then same once I often think of it and smile I was sent to a expensive property to do some plumbing work little did I know that they had been waiting for 2 weeks for me , I drove up the gravel driveway got out the van knocked on the huge hardwood doors as they opened I was met with a torrent of abuse from the lady of the house , I didn't even say a word turned around walked back to the van got in and drove off her face was a absolute picture. kop
