I am working on a washing machine for sale website

I am trying to get peoples opinions on the what they consider to be the best washing machines in different price ranges. Any advice will be welcome.

As the people that have to deal with the effects of washing machines on a regular basis I thought you might be well placed to offer opinions

Any advice will be welcome:

1st - low end washing machines under £250
2nd mid range £250-550
3rd top end over £550

Look forward to hearing your comments

Miele top of the range.

Lower down seem to be junk mostly. Many different brands all seem to belong to one or two company's.

I must admit I would like to know the results of the survey myself. And broaden it out to include boilers, dvr's, tv's, tools and so on. There seems no way to tell what is good stuff and what is not these days. The brand or price don't seem to tell you. I had a B&D heat gun pack in on me, it sells for about £41, inside it looks to be about £5 if that of Far Eastern stuff.

The mark up's have gone to far perhaps? Its about time sellers became a bit more realistic with their prices.

well i bought an indesit 7kg for between 250 - 300 quid and cant fault it yet, very good on energy and very quiet. only had it about 2 weeks tho

+1🙂 Miele = Rolls Royce white goods.

i would be more interested in any that lasts for more than 5 years.

im of the opinion that your better of buying the most basic one that does what you want and throwing it away if anything goes wrong as mine are behind cupboard doors i usually look for the specials especially anything with a dent in the front usually get 4 years out of ours so costs us a quid a week

indesit moon £300 never had a problem! local washing machine repair also said he has never had to repair one.

Miele for me still on my first machine after 8 years never missed a beat 3 kids as well. Mid range Bosch/Siemens/Neff lower down I'd just get the cheapest possible and hope for the best.

I also have a Miele Vacuum cleaner needed a new part for the hose wait until you hear this. They sent a box I packed it they collected it serviced it provided several new parts (listed) new 12 month warranty £62.00. Now what was that about chuck it out and buy another??
