Hi guys. To all those who have already fitted a three port mid valve ..
I've just popped over to sort out a hot water problem for a friend and discovered a sealed system with honeywell components and three port mid valve.
When heating and hot water satisfied, does it rest in A central heating or B hot water or mid???

Also are there common faults use to the mid position valve ??
The reason I ask is because the boiler only seems to fire up when cold and stays working fine until either room stat or hot water which ever first satisfied to put the boiler to rest.. After that it won't fire up for awhile until cooled down.. I've checked air pressure switch which had a tiny kink in but to my surprise its doing me head in... Any suggestions. The boiler is a Baxi solo 3 pfl..
Get those brains ticking lads..:24:

When cold the 3 port valve rests in the central heating position, i.e port A is closed and port B is open. Common problems that I've had with solo 3's are the PCB.
