After working out of my trusty astra van for the past 5 years and a small bump oophs , i am now investing in a new vehicle well new to me :D i have narrowed it down to a few i haven't room for parking a large vehicle so it will be a small panel type van with extra length caddy maxi or similar, looking to change my insurers so any recommendations chaps as my current insurer cis are no longer doing van insurance . Cheers kop

For insurance I just use a comparison site and change every 12 months. Renewal comes in sky high phone to cancel to be told they would have matched it. I then tell them that they should have come in with their best price rather than trying to have my eyeballs out.

Your Insurance broker I am told are working for the company you last used and obliged to quote from them on renewal. That is partly why we get a high quote usually on renewal.

I have a berlingo for years. Never had a single issue with it. Just tyres.

Citroen Dispatch no problems but slow
Ford Connect did what it said on the tin
Fiat Doblo great van 5 years
Citroen Relay too big bag of poop
Citroen Berlingo nice van had clutch issue at 4 years
Fiat Doblo current van my favourite

Caddys are spot-on , but I will be honest I got pi**ed off with VW when they wouldn’t admit to the emission scandal . Dont know what my next one will be , I will probably have calmed down by then and buy another caddy

Ive had a 2 caddys now over the last 10 year I cant complain although my pal got a new Transit connect which is the same size. It has all the goodies that my current van has not got and it was cheaper. I am due a new one and pretty sure it be a caddy though

Heres my new wheels tske delivery tomorrow plenty enough room for me and with the side door will be alot easier . Kop

Looks sporty kop good buy I would say

Older model Transit connect T230 or similar. Ive run one for almost seven years now and its been bomb proof. Very tough and strong engine. Turbo gives plenty of pulling power . Just make sure its got good service history.
