hi all
hope you can help i have replaced a cartridge on a lp but it keeps leaking when water is turn on. i think this is from the o rings possably moving as i push the cartridge in. has antone else had the same problem and how did you get round this i have considerd glueing the o ring to the cartridge before i fitt it next but not sure if this would work or damage the oring any help would be greatfully recived
thanks dave

The LP valve can be very difficult to fit especially when it is a concealed valve. I keep a spare brass housing with a cart already fitted to it, remove the cart form the housing and pop it straight into the one in the wall, works easily most times.

As you probably haven't got a spare housing then first of all make sure there is no grease on the 'O' rings or cart, lightly smear silicone grease onto the brass housing only, insert the cart carefully about 20mm and then pull it out about 10mm then in another 20mm and out 10mm, you get the picture. When the cart sits correctly you will 'feel' that it is ok but it can be a real pain.

Hope that helps.
