I left my printer for my Antonfga at a custards before going Ibiza lo and behold they've not seen it even though I know I left there.

If anyone has one let me know cheap as nuts , am not desperate for one but if you see one let me know please

*******o, happened to me the other week pretty sure i left my bending machine in one of the boys works van, he gets paid off and he says hes not got the bending machine, hardly think i left it at the customers house as its a bit big to miss but dont have any evidence do i.

dont have one though

I could've swarn that I'd left my wallet in a customers kitchen they denied all knowledge of it. Drove me mental with rage for 3 days till I found it under the drivers seat of my van!

I did the same the other day, brought a new one on ebay £25, have since lost the locking thing that goes on the probe and pushes up against the flue test point, cant find one of those though.

I lose stuff all the time, and normally just out and out accuse the guys I work with as we all steal tools from each other anyway (in a nice way - we've all worked together a long time and its a running joke).

They call me the 'Mine Sweeper' as I pick up others tools and say "That's mine" and put it in my tool box.

If my tools got nicked genuinely on site, (by a subby for instance) I would be very peed off.

I left an SDS drill in a custards bathroom, got home 20 mins later and noticed it missing. Rang straight away. Conversation :

Me - 'Hello its the plumber, I have left my drill in your bathroom

Custard - with no hesitation ' No you haven't

Me - ' I am pretty sure I have, could you go and have a look'

Custard ' I can, but there is no point because you have not left it'

Me - 'please go and have a look'

10 seconds later - Custard ' no it's not there'

Six months later went back to do a quote for a new bathroom, got the job and bought a new shiny SDS drill plus a bit more on the price - what comes around goes around.

All part of the rich pageant of life

many moons ago when doing social housing contract we dropped a cylinder off at the punters house at 8.30am, told him would be back in a couple of hours to fit it, when i went back the guy let me in and when i asked where the cylinder was he said "what cylinder"? i said " the one i left here 2hrs ago" "dont know what you are talking about" he replied, went to the housing office and police and was told as i had no proof that i left it there was nothing they could do, and they wanted us to just fit another one, which we had to do, the guy just stared me out and didnt give a flying you know what,

Some people are just scummy! That guy had less to lose than you Kirk. That's why he nicked it.

For others it's just a buzz.

Mate of mine who's a carpet fitter watched his brand new van go sailing by him last week. I reckon he left the keys in the ignition (we're in lovely Kent countryside here and some people are too trusting).

I would last about 5 minutes in London!

I was doing a job there a year or two back, and as I was driving away, a guy on a scooter was buzzing all around me, gestjuring me to pull over. I pull up to some lights, and he say's "your van is spilling out black smoke mate".

I just nodded as I didn't care really. It later occured to me, had I jumped out to check the exhaust. He would probably have dropped the nicked scooter, and jumped in my van and peed off in it, with all my kit!

It was lazyness not savvyness that saved me that day.

Just looked it up on Google.

Seems the keys were nicked from inside the house. Could be true!!
