Which way round should the plastic piston fit in the toilet cistern filling valve please. Does the larger diameter end press the rubber washer or the small diameter end.
 
the smaller end should point towards the float, like an arrow
 
Thanks mickie for your quick reply. I was in the process of changing the large washer and the piston fell into the toilet basin leaving me to guess which way it should go back. Now I know.
