The Levels are OK.
There doesnt seem to be a blockage.
There seems to be no resistence when the lever is pressed down.
Just a small amount of water enters the toilet bowl.
Does anyone please have the answer.Charlie.

can you post pic from inside the cistern?

Thanks,Disregard the water level shown, isolated the water. 004.jpg

Looks as if you need one of these:-

Opella Dual Flush Siphon | NoLinkingToThis

Washer gone in syphon. Means you have to remove the cistern to remove that syphon. You could either replace the entire syphon with one same size, or you could copy the old washer using a knife & a sheet of very heavy plastic.
Other way would be to replace with a flushing valve & button.
You may need to replace the sealing washer between the pan & cistern before you refit the cistern. Often a large domed rubber washer.

For the sake of a few pounds it's worth getting a fitting kit for the cistern - the bolts often rust up, and then the heads turn, and the easiest way is to cut through the bolts. There's a kit on this link, but I wouldn't recommend getting it from SF because the metal plate is very thin and tends to bend easily on the one they keep.

Most places will refund on a pack that hasn't been opened if you don't need it.
