Evening,
I am not a plumber but looking for some advice, the downstairs toilet in my house has recently started to drop the pan water level so low on flushing that it sucks air into the pan. I was aware that this could be caused by a blocked/fault vent so I replaced the automatic vent in the attic for a new full size one but the problem still persists. I have snaked the soil pipes and everything seems clear. It is a concealed cistern, that did develop a overflow problem about two on this ago which I adjusted the float to resolve.
Any further ideas/help appreciated.
