Hi,

I am replacing a rounded BTW toilet seat and the measurements on my toilet base are:

From centre hole to centre hole=150mm
Width=370mm
Length=430mm

I bought a Ceso Rue Softclose from B&Q.

The website mentioned "Fast fix fully adjustable stainless steel hinge" but gave no hole distance measurements. However, it just arrived and the measurements on the box say this:

Holes: 155mm
Width: 370mm
Length: 420-450mm

I have called B&Q twice now and no one is able to tell me for sure whether the 5mm discrepancy between the hole distance is going to be a problem or not!

Does anyone know? Thanks!

I keep hearing what a nightmare it is to fix a new toilet seat so really hope this goes OK!

Thanks for any advice.

Hoon.
