Hi Guys

I have a toilet to swap this week in a factory, now with the toilet getting a lot of use with it being in factory would it be best to bed it down with something onto the tiles before screwing down?

Cheers

I know that this is too late to help you, but for the benefit of other readers I would recommend that when you have screwed down the pan, you inject a bead of clear or white silicone sealant around the foot of the pan, after ensuring that the pan foot and the tiles are completely grease-free (use meths). Use a wet finger or spatula to force the sealant well in and provide a neat smooth finish.

If done properly this beds the pan down nicely, prevents wobble, and stops nasty liquids getting under the foot to cause smells.
