would there be any problems changing an old toilet with a higher flush volume with a new dual flush toilet as there all 4and6L flushes now or will it be just a case of swaping the over. any advice would be appreciated.

nothing in life is simple, I think your asking can you change an old toilet for a new one. Yes you can.

Depends on a few things, how far the soil pipe sticks out of the wall, these can be adjusted and extensions bought, you may need to adjust the height of the toilet etc.

There are many variables to fitting a new toilet. Very rarely is it the old one out new one in.
