Toilet wont flush

Hi everyone.

Have just got in to work and there is a problem with one of the office loo's. It won't flush! The handle is not limp but is easily pushed (not the usual resistance).
On looking in the system, the link to the 'flapper' is not bent or broken and when flushing the handle, it lifts as it should, but there is no movement of water.

Any advice? Thanks.

The diaphragm (piece of plastic sheet) inside the siphon is probably split. Needs a new siphon.

Sounds like plastic diaphragm is torn.

All this talk of flappers and seeing things 'lifting as they should' makes me wonder if it's one of these boyos

quite impossible for them not to work tho waertight! id go with the diaphram!
