tool kit

Hello,

I am finally sick of carrying all my tools in one tote bag, its getting too heavy for me to be honest. I have been hunting the web for a pre made up boiler technicians kit but havent found anything, i kmow if i just get a bag that holds my tools, laptop and docs i will fill it with unwanted rubbish and it too will become heavy and need sorting every week. if you know of such an available product please point me in the right direction

its called a van and an empty yellow bucket, filled with appropriate items for each job.

I've got 3 tool bags, my main one I use for installs, my gas one I use for breakdowns, landlords etc and my electrical one for wiring.

I have a big box for items I don't use often, which stays in the van. Full of things like big hammers, trowels, saws etc. I have a tote bag, which is full of my everyday tools, then I keep a small tool box that I transfer the bare minimum into when doing servicing and breakdowns etc.

Have a look at electricians tool bags, they have some handy technicians bags. I have one somewhere that will take a laptop/FGA/documents and has compartments for tools aswell.

I've also got a jacket with big pockets, saves using the bucket (this thread will become tiresome)

I brought a great work jacket years ago, now all i do is say " go,go gadget spanner" and my adjustable spanner comes out the sleave. It works for all my tools....."go,go gadget screwdriver" for example.

i got it off somebody called inspect-her-gadget

or was that the film i watched yesterday??

As a few have mentioned, I've got a few for different types of jobs. Seemed a luxury at first but normal now. Duplicate tools in different cases means you have spares when break or get lost.
