Got my van open and tools stolen on Friday. Hope these low life scambags will rot in hell. This happened in Loughton on pay and display car park. So watch out if you planning to go there.

Lowlife scum bstards. Hope you get up and running again soon mate. Loughton's supposed to be a decent area.

What did you lose? I'm having a clearout and was going to offer a set of Ryobi 18V gear on the forum if someone had maybe a trainee that needed some kit. You're welcome to it if it helps.

Nice offer Masood.

This is what puts me off getting my signwriting on my van. Everyone I know who has it, has been broken in to at some point. Hope you have some insurance to cover your tools and get some new gear sorted as soon as possible.

I wouldn't let the thought of getting you van broken in to because of sign writing put you off getting sign writing on your van, plenty of vans get broken in to that don't have sign writing my old van plain white got the back lock smashed in but they never got anything
These scum aren't picky on the type of van/coulour/signwriting or not/size they just want some cash for a quick high

Mine was a plain white van as well when mine was done.

What can I say, nice one masood , I've a few power tools that I no longer use, I'd have to look in the store,
what all did the take Galaxy ?

milwaukee core drill, used maybe 3 times, cost me £370 in discount. bosh sds in offer for £350,bosh multitool, reciprocary saw, circular saw. worst thing is my toolbag full of tools which i collected over years. insurance cover up to £1000 so not even powertools.

i will do extra measures this time to prevent this from happening again.

What a mess they made at the same time. Did they just smash the lock right out?

For the arms, but without going into too much detail, I think it would be a good thing if we knew about the different vans and how these scum bags get into them to help protect them. It's not often you see them get in through the sliding door, seems much more secure.

Ouch that sounds expensive hope they get whats coming to them very easy for the pay and display to say it's not their problem they make enough money to have someone patrol or even fit some cctv.....about time it happened imho...Turnpin

Ive started a thread with the vans that I can remeber how to break into them

I know its a long shot, but was their clear signage in the car park that the owners( im assuming its the council) would normally put up saying they are not responsible for peoples property left their. If not which is a long shot if it is the council. They can be held liable for your costs involved in the break in.
