Hi all. Just stumbled upon this website (not mine, promise!) and bought one of their Tile Trackers. Looks like a decent, time saving bit of kit to be honest. Also bought some of their Uniplug tile spacers after watching this video which shows how he uses them to quickly scribe edge tiles. They also do a Tile Edgesetter spacer to make getting tiles square around windows and getting the trim neat a piece of cake.

I think there is a lot of time to be saved on each bathroom with these 3 tools.

Will let you all know how good they are (or not) once I get mine.

Lol well I reckon that level is the quickest way to get the first row nice and level. Been looking for something like it for a while as battons flex too much and have to be nailed to the wall which is no good for wetrooms.

Just read a thread on there about them. There are good opinions on the tile leveller. Can no one else see the time benefit on this? Maybe I am missing a trick lol.

Agree, the vid is aimed at teaching DIYers. I think the product is pretty good though, it's easily clipped together in 25cm sections and there is a lip on the back to make sure you are putting your tiles on the wall dead straight, even on an out of true wall. A guide if you will. It's this adjustability of the width that I think makes it very handy.

Seen some other vids of his tiling though and can't really fault his finished work, it looks brill. Take on board what people say about the tile adhesive, but we don't really know what size of tiles they are.

TBH I was looking more for feedback like Erm's on the product. The general concensus seems to be it's not worth it though.

How do you guys make sure your first row is dead level then? Timber battens are obviously a no no if you have to nail them to walls in a wet-room. I've tried shoring up timber, including the rubi battens, and the timber flexes too much in the middle under the weight of most tiles. Either that or the timber itself is warped which is quite usual.

Wash boy? Not me.....I'm not paying fifty quid for a mop bucket with a roller on top.

I do like the idea of the tile starters and have seen them before but It is one more piece of junk to slog around, I use use whatever is to hand and tack it to the wall.
