Can anyone give me some tips on how best to drain a towel rail rad , I want to remove temporarily for tiling
the feeds are two verticals to rad valves , is it just a case of loosen the nuts and capture water as best you can , It looks like it could be seriously awkward.
cheers billy

Turn the valves off, loosen the nuts catch the water then take it off. (Wet vacs are great for this)

Thanks Phoenix pretty much what I thought , so I guess if I get a wet vac you literally suck it away from the loosened nuts :smiley2::

Yep best way by far, you can pick a cheap wetvac from screwfix for £40. Worth every penny, one of the best prices of equipment on the van
