towel rail

removed a radiator, fitted a towel rail on a combi system, opened valves and can not get hot water through towel rail, pressure ok return warm but feed cold and water is coming through feed pipe.Rest of radiators ok in house

Presumably you bled it?

possible air lock in the pipework, turn off all the other rads in the house except the towel rad to try n force the airlock out.

will be a bit messy but.....

shut valves on new towel rad

open top left nut on rad, open right radvalve slowly and this will push air out as water will push from bottom right radvalve to top left nut

repeat other side

job done.

Turn the CH pump off when doing this or you could actually draw more air into the system.
