Can you still fit bathroom towel rails on a domestic hot with pumped secondary ? Or has the regs changed ?

Thanks

I would of thought it would be against energy efficiency regs.

In big houses I always had towel rails on on there own circuits in smaller houses dual fuel tees.

How you control the circuit just on a timer then there on or off

My bathroom got a RF prog star in it. It's been in the bath about 5 or six times ..... That's twice more than I have

Why do you want to do it anyway?

Last time i got asked to do it in a new build, by the time I'd found a suitable towel rail I'm sure it worked out about the same to just put an extra zone in and standard rails.

Thats the way I would normally do it , but the client wants it off the hot water which is a right pain

Zone valve powered in parallel with DHW circ? Then looks and smells like it but really it's not!

Just ask them what their requirements are then tell them you can give them that another way.

Towel rail ran off secondary hot water doesn't sound a great idea, how much is a bronze/stainless rail these days?

very few domestic towel rails were ever fitted on hot water, they were usually of the gravity primaries
towel rails on hot water were only found in hospitals and very large houses
