What does the free toolkit consist of & is it any good?

Not sure what the tool kit consists of, but it sounds like you only use it for your training and then hand it back to them.

No apparently it's yours to keep & consists of-
Tool bag,
Bender,
Gas Torch
2 Adjustable Spanners
Junior Hacksaw
Large Hacksaw
2 Screwdrivers
2 Pipe Cutters
1 Level
1 Cordless Drill
1 Hole Cutter
1 Basin Spanner

hi, no you dont get to keep the kit any more,people were complaining about the different make of tools available,so now you get a £200.00 screwfix voucher....

hello, no i havnt had it yet,i was told that you only receive it near the end of the course,bit silly really cus i could be doing odd plumbing jobs while still training,,ste

It's not really a free tool kit is it? You've paid through the nose to go on the course, you're probably paying more than it's actual value.

have to chuckle when people say free this and free that
nothing is ever free in this world you allways pay one way or the other
you only start paying for sex when you get married

no,it certainly isnt free,i wouldnt want the kit i was using at the training centre,it was well used to say the least....

I have finished my second week today and asked about the tool voucher and ATL are saying its not screwfix but a rothenberger voucher.

ATL at Southampton told me this week it was £200 Screwfix vouchers, as have T4Ts.

Just bumping this to bring all contributors to the attention of all the threads we have on our forums about Train 4 Trade Skills.

There have been A LOT of people who feel they have been missold courses by Train 4 Trade Skills. Many taking legal action.
