Hi
I've recently started the plumbing NVQ 2 which involves classroom theory, workshop practicals and assessments out in the workplace. We are advised to gain experience at college first and then move on to the workplace assessments, but having work in place from early on in the course is really going to help to gain knowledge and skills with the hands on experience.
I have worked on sites with pipefitters, cutting and threading LCS, putting unistrut and pipe clips in place and all other jobs to make work run smoothly i.e moving materials and keeping the workplace tidy. I also do occassional work with a plumber in residential properties. I have worked on a few jobs decomissioning and installing bathrooms in which I was involved in the installing of the the bath, shower, sink and pedestal, toilet and bathroom radiator. These jobs have also involved me tiling and painting. I also worked along side him whilst he installed a new boiler, whch I got to observe inbetween flushing the radiators and changing the old valves with thermo valves.
I'm looking for work in the Brighton, East Sussex area, so if you are after a trainee plumber to build up and be part of your team get in touch or if you are after helping hands for a jobs no matter how big or small get in touch.
I am dedicated and hard working so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you think that I could be of any benefit to you and we can disscuss the posibilities further.
Kind Regards,
Joe
