Hi all
Just installing a new TRV - Danfoss bi direction, and looking at the 8 and 10mm reducers that come with the 15mm valve, they look quite solid chunky brass. these are the compesion ovives right? it just looks like they are too strong to "compress"
acurate advice greatfully received

you will here an audible click, and then they will tighten another 1/4 turn

Talking about olives/rings/cones or what ever the buzz word for them is at the moment.

I remember, I think it was Honeywell, had rings in their three port valves so hard you virtually needed to use Stilotsons on them, just to nip them up.
