I've never really done underfloor heating but lately it's a subject that's been mentioned by some long standing customers. I'm considering fitting it. Has anyone here got any experience in that realm, what would you say are the benefits of it and the things to look out for, any tips?

Get yourself on the training courses & get your knowledge built up on it.

Fairly straight forward to do if you know what you're doing & even easier to get it wrong if you don't know what you're doing!!!

Straight forward. Hardest part is educating customers as to the means by which it works and how efficiency's are lost if you don't let the stats do there job. Why can't people be content with a comfortable room rather than wondering why the floor isn't very warm or that the radiator doesn't feel as hot as it used too. The concept is lost on some that the temp doesn't matter if it's achieving the required ambient. Lower is more efficient for condensing and under floor has to have lower and if fitted correctly doesn't needthe kind of high temps rads require to heat the space.
