I recently purchased 3 Infinity wall hung WC frames from a company named Splash Direct, two of which have now been installed and closed in with plasterboard, which has now been painted.
The frame feels solid and the toilet went in fine, but I'm having problems with the flushplate. The problem that I've encountered is that the bottom edge of the flushplate, when fitted kicks out from the wall.
The reason for this appears to be that the plastic body of the cistern itself, (which the flushplate screws onto) isn't flat, with the bottom edge of the flush plate cut out protruding further than the top edge.
This was apparent from inspecting the wall hung unit that hasn't yet been fitted.
Has anyone encountered this problem before, and can anyone suggest a solution?
The only remedy appears to be cut away the bottom edge the flush plate opening on the front of the cistern and replace (bodge) with silicone or gripfill or something similar.
Thanks,
